GoldHaven hits skarn 80 m from a prior hole at Kuhn — still no grades

The final Kuhn hole cut visual skarn ~80 m south along strike. The company calls it continuity. Every assay is still pending.

On October 9, 2026, GoldHaven Resources said its final hole at the Kuhn tungsten-skarn target in northern British Columbia cut visual skarn — rock cooked by hot fluids from a buried intrusion, the kind of ground that can host metal. The new hole, GOH26-08, sits about 80 metres south along strike from an earlier hole, GOH26-04, on a separate drill pad; the release does not state the depth below surface of the intercepts. The company reads that as evidence the mineralized zone carries on between the two. That finished the Kuhn program: eight holes, 1,729 metres total.

Here is the thing to hold onto. There are no grades in this release — not for GOH26-08, not for GOH26-04, not for any of the eight holes. Visual skarn tells you the rock type, not what it is worth. When we last covered GoldHaven, every drill result was pending at the lab, and that is still true today; the company says assays are pending receipt, review and verification. The one interval the company puts a size on — the lower skarn in GOH26-04, estimated at roughly 20 to 45 metres true thickness — is a preliminary geological interpretation, not a surveyed width, and no grade attaches to it. The only numbers with grade here are historical: a D Zone intercept of 7.6 metres at 240 grams per tonne silver, 4.73% lead and 4.74% zinc. That result predates NI 43-101 rules and has not been verified by a Qualified Person for GoldHaven. The stock rose 8.3% over three months while the base-metals peer index rose 5.2% — a narrow edge that reads more as sector co-movement than a decisive company-specific signal.

Now the caveats, which the geologist flags plainly. The ~80-metre continuity between the two holes is explicitly forward-looking and needs more drilling to establish; the release does not state the strike length traced or the depth below surface, because GOH26-08’s downhole from–to and drill angles are not given — only a core-photo depth of 220.0 to 220.3 metres. There is no cut-off grade, no assay method, no lab named, and the Qualified Person, Raymond Wladichuk, is a consultant to the company, not independent. The drill has now moved to the D Zone silver-lead-zinc target and is turning. Watch for the Kuhn assays — timing not stated — then the D Zone results. Until the lab speaks, everything here is rock type and geometry, not grade.
