High-grade gold hole lights up ICG's Tuscarora ground in Nevada

One standout hole cut 24.3 metres of 10.14 g/t gold. The neighbour came back quiet, and six holes are still out.

ICG Silver & Gold reported one very good hole. At its Battle Mountain target in the Tuscarora District of Nevada, drill hole T26RC-04 cut 24.3 metres grading 10.14 grams of gold per tonne — rich enough that every tonne of that rock carries about a third of an ounce of gold. Inside that run sat a tighter 4.6 metres at 51.84 g/t, and inside that, a single 1.5-metre sample at a bonanza 137 g/t. All of it came from 181.4 to 205.7 metres down the hole. This is a freshly listed company: ICG was incorporated in August 2025 and started trading on the CSE on March 31, 2026.

Here is why the number lands. Multiply grade by width and T26RC-04 works out to roughly 246 gram-metres of gold — the kind of intercept that headlines a sector newsletter. But it stands nearly alone. The neighbouring hole T26RC-05 returned a low-grade halo: 15.2 metres at 0.73 g/t gold, from 224.0 metres down, which works out to about 11 gram-metres. So this reads as a single high-grade shoot rather than a proven deposit. The board carries real Nevada gold weight in Jeff Swinoga and Gary Baschuk, both ex-Barrick, though CEO Steven Sirbovan, around 31, comes from capital markets and has no public mine-build or discovery credit. The stock did its own thing: up 18.2% over three months while the junior silver index rose 7% and silver added 3.2%, with a sharp dip to about 0.265 mid-period before recovering to 0.52.

Now the honest part. The company states plainly that true widths have not been determined — the reported lengths are measured down the hole, so the real thickness of the zone is unknown and likely narrower. That 24.3-metre average is heavily leveraged by the one 1.5-metre sample at 137 g/t, and narrow bonanza samples can pull an average up. The release claims continuity of the surrounding lower-grade system, but gives no hole spacing and no strike length, so how far the zone runs is not established. Six of the twelve Phase 1 holes are still waiting on assays, with timing not stated. The company targets a maiden resource estimate for Q1 2027. One more thing worth logging: ICG disclosed a US$150,000, three-month awareness engagement with a promoter one day before these results.
